How much or how far is too far in our encouters with the world, all the while remaining seperate of it?

shame on us for becoming the american pharasee.

how is it that we can say things like "I know Jesus hung out with sinners, but it was just to show them that judgement is coming if they continue in their lifestyle?"

God forgive our homo phobe attitudes and unwillingness to BE the Church to hurting people.
unless, of course, they are diferent from me...then let someone else do it.

I think we are to go so far out in touching, dining, and healing folks that our Christians brothers doubt our salvation. The same thing happened to Jesus. He was called a friend of the drunks and protitiutes. The teachers of the religious law were stunned by his actions. Perhaps that is what we neeed o do, break religious laws in order to usher about the Kingdom of God here on earth. Jesus did.
